LIMITED WARRANTY
OWNER REGISTRATION: This warranty registration must be completed and "on file" with Screen America for the warranty to be valid.
The manufacturer guarantees the material and workmanship of its roll-up screen, shutter or vinyl product to be of good quality as provided in this limited warranty to the original owner. This warranty is not transferrable and insures only the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
- Alpha motors and remotes and warrantied for seven(7) years
- Somfy motors are warrantied for five (5) years and remotes for one (1) year
- The aluminum components (slats, tracks, housings, crossbars and roll drums) have a limited lifetime warranty
- Spring and gear operators are warrantied for one (1) year
- All other electronic components (hubs, sensors, number pads etc.) are warrantied for one (1) year
- All plastic and vinyl/PVC components (tracks, angle, and retention components including seams and welds) are warrantied for one (1) year
- Mesh material, excluding vinyl panels, is warrantied for ten (10) years. Exception! 18x14 and 20x20 mesh
THE FOLLOWING ARE EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY:
- Abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, accidents, improper installation and acts of God.
- Usage, modification of installation, not in accordance with our installation and operation instructions.
- Our equipment is to be used in conjunctions with other components, unless approved in writing by Screen America.
COVERAGE OF WARRANTY:
Our obligations under the warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of any component or part found to be defective within the applicable periods of time described above. Labor is the responsibility of the installing dealer or customer. All warranty parts must be returned to Screen America, freight paid and addressed to: Screen America Corp, 7269 W. Homosassa Trl. Homosassa, FL 34448. ATTENTION: Warranty.
If inspection of the part by Screen America is in fact determined to be a warranty defect, Screen America will repair or replace said part and return it freight collect to the dealer unless failure occurred within 30 days of receipt of the product then Screen America will also cover the return cost.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES:
SCREEN AMERICA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUETIAL DAMAGE OR LOSS TTHAT THE CONSUMER MAY SUFFER OR INCUR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT OR ITS USE. SCREEN AMERICA'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY HEREUNDER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT; ANY WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY LAW INCLUDING THOSE OF THE MERCHANTABLILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE OR FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ONE (1) YEAR OR TWO (2) YEAR EXPRESS WARRANTIES; SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS. THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUISION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUESTIAL DAMAGES; NO PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION IS AUTHORIZED TO ALTER OR CHANGE THE ABOVE WARRANTY OR TO IMPOSE ANY OTHER LIABILITY ON SCREEN AMERICA.
Skeet'R Beat'R motorized retractable screens
Congratulations on your purchase. Your Skeet'R Beat'R is an insect screen, designed primarily for keeping flying insects such as mosquitos, flies, wasps, moths and even no-see-ums out, while allowing light and ventilation in. Certain Crawling insects like ants, silverfish, and cockroaches etc. obviously cannot be kept out.
When paired with our specialized vinyl track system your Skeet'R Beat'R is designed to release from the track should you accidently bump it with a vehicle. If such a case should occur, stop your vehicle immediately. Pull your car away from the screen. Inspect the screen and track. if there is no visible damage it should roll up. If it will not roll up, unplug your Skeet'R Beat'R and call your local authorized dealer to repair or replace any damaged components and reinstall the screen in the tracks. When operating your Skeet'R Beat'R in windy conditions close any doors or windows they may be protecting to prevent binding. Do not deploy OR operate your motorized screen(s) in high winds. Always watch the operation of the screen when it is in motion. If it binds up stop it immediately. If you cannot free it up contact your authorized dealer.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Spray the track and end retention parts with approved Screen America dry silicone spray every six (6) months. Do not use a product that stains or leaves a sticky residue. Screen America has approved several products. To purchase our approved dry silicone spray, contact your authorized dealer or Screen America for a dealer near you. NOTE: certain crickets, grasshoppers and wasps are known to chew holes in the screen mesh especially if trapped or rolled up in the material. Care should be taken to remove these pests from the screen before rolling it up. Clean screen mesh periodically if needed. To clean mesh or other components use a gentle detergent like Palmolive and a soft sponge or wash cloth to clean and then rinse with a light spray from your hose. NEVER USE A PREASURE SPRAYER. NEVER SPRAY WATER UP INTO THE SCREEN HOUSING. Allow the mesh to dry completely before rolling it up for storage. NEVER ROLL UP SCREEN WHEN MESH IS WET.

StormSecure roll shutters
Congratulations on your purchase. Your StormSecure roll shutters are, designed primarily for keeping flying debris from damaging the windows and doors that they protect and prevent. They are not designed to mitigate flooding waters or crawling insects. In addition, while the roll shutters are impact rated to 180MPH that doesn't mean that slats tracks and other components won't be damaged and need replacement when impacted during a hurricane and other foul weather events. Always be sure to take the proper steps will secure your belongings to protect your home and shutters when major weather events occur.
